Our IOSH certified instructors are dedicated to training your staff to be committed to safety, first and foremost
With our extensive training as forklift operators to R.T.I.T.B. standards since 1993 and having worked in the industry since 1986, we feel we possess the expertise necessary to provide you with the training your staff require. Our aim is to help you maintain minimal damage, incidents, and near-miss statistics, ensuring that you steer clear of any potential catastrophes. Watch the video below to get a glimpse of what can happen to innocent lives when training is ignored, when operators cut corners and when they stop paying attention to the job they are employed for.  The importance of ensuring supervision after training to help prevent such incidents cannot be overlooked, our training programmes include the 30 plus years experience as operators that we hold on machinery we have used in a mulititude of evironments

Regular and comprehensive training plays a crucial role in preventing incidents caused by negligence. It is imperative to carefully select and assess all operatives operating material handling equipment (MHE). When employing new operatives all candidates should undergo interviews to evaluate their attitude, aptitude, and eyesight, among other factors.  Previous forklift experience is not always essential, as effective training will ensure driver compliance and excellent ability regardless of their previous employment type. Refresher coaching is the next step, it is essential for avoiding complacency and promoting high productivity rates while keeping incident levels low. Regular refresher courses should be applied to ensure the training supplied remains fresh in the operatives mind, just like after a car driving test, the operator becomes complacent and picks up bad habits, these bad habits need to be removed. The thorough training we supply follows and exceeds HSE requirements, a forklift certificate is usually valid for three to five years before retraining is recommended, however we feel this period of time could be reduced to go above and beyond what is generally required,  this shorter time frame can help keep your workplace and your operatives safe, safety conscious and mindful of their duties and obligations under the guidance set out by the HSE.
